 A Cidade Celestial, também conhecida como Nova Jerusalém, é uma cidade espiritual descrita no livro de Apocalipse da Bíblia. A cidade é apresentada como o lugar onde os crentes irão morar eternamente, um lugar de perfeição e plenitude na presença de Deus. A descrição da cidade é a seguinte:

• A cidade é quadrangular, com comprimento e largura iguais.

A cidade é feita de ouro puro, semelhante ao vidro puro.

O muro da cidade é feito de jaspe.

Os fundamentos dos muros são ornamentados com pedras preciosas.

As doze portas são feitas de pérolas, cada uma de uma única pérola.

A rua principal da cidade é de ouro puro, como vidro transparente.

A cidade não precisa de sol nem de lua para brilhar.

As portas nunca se fecharão de dia, pois ali não haverá noite.

A cidade é descrita como uma noiva arrumada para seu marido, Deus. O apóstolo João diz que a cidade é nova, mas não se refere ao tempo, pois foi construída por Deus há milênios.
